Deposit Policy:
A 25% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of the package will be required upon entering an agreement for use of the Barrington House to hold an event date. This amount will be applied toward the total package price for the agreed event date only. The remaining balance of the rental fee is due no later than 90 days prior to the event unless special arrangements are made with the Barrington House otherwise. The Barrington House may book your date to another party if the deposit policy is not followed. Catering fees will be apid two weeks in advance of the event date.

Cancellation Policy:
The Barrington House Cancellation Policy requires that only amounts paid above the original non-refundable and non-transferable deposit amount are refundable only under the following conditions: paid reservations cancelled six months prior to the event date will be refunded in full, less a $250 processing fee. Reservations cancelled five months prior to the reserved date will be refunded in full, less a $350 processing fee. Reservations cancelled less than five months prior to the reservation date will not be refunded.

Decorations and Furnishings:
Attaching items to the Barrington House walls, windows, doors and woodworking is not permitted. Furniture and accessories, including flower pots and arrangements, may not be moved or rearranged.

Smoking:
Smoking is forbidden inside the Barrington House. However, smoking is permitted outdoors. Cigarette butts must be discarded appropriately.

Pets:
Clients having pets will be asked to house their pets in our kennel. No pets will be allowed to stay inside the Barrington House.

Portraits:
Each bride reserving the Barrington House will have the option of using the house and gardens for her bridal portrait. To secure your exclusive time, you must set up an appointment with the Barrington House Events Coordinator at least one month prior to your portrait date.
All other clients requesting the use of the Barrington House and gardens for their portraits must pay a $150 fee to secure the facility. This fee will entitle the client to a 2 hour photo session with your personal photographer. Both the house and/or gardens will be available at the client’s request. Reservations must be made one month prior to the portrait date and the portrait fee paid in full at the time of securing your reservation.
